Advertising.com expands across Europe
Advertising.com, the online network division of Time Warner’s AOL, has recently opened its 9th European office and strengthened its account management team as it continues to build on its success as the largest advertising display network across Europe and the United States.
In the Netherlands, Advertising.com has opened its doors in the cosmopolitan city of Amsterdam - under the expert leadership of Joost Hagesteijn. As Country Manager, Joost, is responsible for the overall sales, marketing, and operations of the business. He joins the company from Yahoo! where he was Director of Search Marketing Netherlands.
Joost said: "What’s so exciting about this opportunity is that Advertising.com is one of the first display networks in the Netherlands to offer online advertising on a risk-free CPA basis. And in turn, immediately we become a win-win solution for both our advertising clients and our publishing partners."
Advertising.com’s Managing Director, Brendan Condon says: "I’m delighted to see our expansion across Europe continue at this wonderful pace. And as part of the company’s growing support infrastructure at the UK headquarters, Gavin Stirrat was recently tapped to head the Strategic Client Solutions team for Europe. Gavin will be responsible for creating and fostering new partnerships with key advertisers, publishers, and corporate partners. He joined Advertising.com some six years ago and from the start has been integral to the successful development of the company’s growing product suite.
A new addition to the UK team is Zosia Rich, who will take on the role as European Research Manager joining the company from 24/7 Real Media. Zosia has been tasked with creating a new pan-European research outlook on brand effectiveness studies and analysing consumer trends for both the benefit of the industry and the marketing partners of Advertising.com.
Of the recent appointments, Brendan said "There is only one way for Advertising.com to continue its trajectory as a pacesetter for results-driven online advertising, we have to continuously bring new ideas and turnkey solutions to our marketing partners."
